Breaded Cauliflower
On a warm sunny day when cauliflowers are in season I feel like eating something light, simple and meat-free. I would like to share with you the popular recipe for ‘breaded cauliflower‘ or ‘cauliflower in bread crumbs’. I would serve it with sunny side egg and / or young potatoes cooked with skins and drink a glass of buttermilk with it.
For the rest of the year it can be a great side dish to any dinner or be eaten alone.
In this video I will show you how to prepare this meal:
Breaded Cauliflower Ingredients:
-Cauliflower
-2 tbsp Bread Crumbs
-1 tbsp Butter
-Salt & Pepper
This must be a Polish thing. I learned from my mother to make cauliflower and brussels sprouts like this. But we melt the butter, add the bread crumbs, and stir, and then add the bread crumbs to the pot of cooked and drained cauliflower or brussels sprouts and shake and mix.
I just started rendiag your book, and I am almost done! I’t been a great read and I’m anxious to start gardening right away, but I am new to gardening and I was wondering if it is too late to start a fall crop here in San Antonio. What crops would you recommend for this area and our weather this time of year?
